Cebuano News: Tax incentives management act, gilagdaan na ni PNoy

MANILA, Dec. 10 (PIA) -- Gilagdaan na ni Presidente Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III ang Republic Act 10708 o ang Tax Incentive Management and Transparency Act o TIMTA.

Tuyo niining iduso ang transparency ug accountability sa paghatag ug pagdumala sa tax incentives sa mga negosyo, indibidwal ug korporasyon.

Matud pa ni Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Kalihim Herminio Coloma, makatabang kini aron mapalambo pa ang target income sa gobyerno sa larangan sa pagbuhis.

Giingong pinaagi niini, magbaton og kahigayonan ang gobyerno nga ma-monitor, ma-review ug ma-analyze ang epekto niini sa ekonomiya apil na ang mapa-paspas ang paghatag og serbisyo sa publiko.

Gusto maseguro sa balaod nga pahimoslan gayud sa katawhan ang nahisgotang prebilihiyo.

“This law seeks to “promote fiscal accountability and transparency in the grant and management of tax incentives by developing means to measure the government’s fiscal exposure on these grants and to enable the government to monitor, review and analyze the economic impact thereof and thereby optimize the social benefit of such incentives,” matud pa ni Coloma. (ecb/PIA7-Bohol)
